ReplyDeleteI will say I was not so impressed with the gowns from the ball, I didn't really LOVE any of them. But I will say the following:
-It was nice to see an Olsen in something that doesn't resemble a cloth bag
-I totally agree on the Rihanna hair thing. I can date back when she started annoying me to when she went fire engine.
-I usually think Gwenyth's style choices are a total yawn fest, and do still feel the front needs something to break up the glitter pole...but DAYAM is RIGHT!! That back and slit are parfait! Tres tres bien!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorites are Jlo, Shalom, Ginnifer, Dakota, and of course the Marc Jacobs duo...I actually like the top part of Frieda's dress, but it would have looked a lot better on her if it was a cocktail length...with you on her horrendous acting though!
I also expected to see a lot more people in Mcqueen.

I loved Iman and Daphne Guiness' looks. Shalom Harlow was a model. She was the one who wore the dress that was spraypainted in a McQueen runway show.

ReplyDeleteI'm not crazy about Sarah Jessica Parker's dress or Jennifer Lopez's dress either, but that's maybe because I don't like them so much. The very Egyptian lady is much prettier and looks really hot and chic:) I lived in New Delhi in Vasant Vihar in the 1990s for 5 years and I love Bharat Natyam, I studied it for the whole 5 years I was there, with Guru Dakshinamoorthy from Tamil Nadu.

ReplyDeleteI'm O.K. with Aish's untoned arms, but she looks SO uncomfortable. That watch/bracelet with the Armani dress was JUTTING into her wrist flesh.See her in the photocalls and she looks amazing and so comfortable. She's so gorgeous...she needs to tone down that makeup BIG time.

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH DAPHNE G IS A GODDESS! I loved MK Olsen's vintage (Givenchy I think - but can't be bothered to google) dress.... out of the pics you put up I have to say I love how J-LO looks... she's been killing it recently.... Overall there totally wasn't enough drama at the Met Gala this year... some of the dresses were a bit... meh, awards seasony... nothing special...
