I like the colour of this gown. But thats it I think. She`s looking a little worn down and old somehow.

Diane Kruger In Christian Dior Couture

Diane HAS to be the star of this festival. I am sure she did her jury member duties well, but her red carpet appearances were exceptional for sure.


I don`t like the checks on this gown. That said, I absolutely love the silhouette.
And she looks flawless

Sonam Kapoor In Alexander McQueen 

I really like this dress. Perfect goth chic. But just NOT on her. I dont know why. I have thought about this quite a bit (wow, sounds quite useless now) but I cant really pin point why this look some how falls flat

Now I don`t know why there are not other pictures of this look. I love the dress. And the head piece .
I would`ve loved to see her and Aishwariya together on the red carpet. After Sonam called her an 'aunty' and since she looks like one these days, it wouldve been a better appearance than anything the either of them could wear!

Aishwarya Rai In Elie Saab Couture

Since I have vowed to be nice and not mean to her now that I have started feeling bad for the whole situation - I like this on her.

Firstly Its Elie Saab

Secondly, I am loving the colour and the beading on it.

She IS big. There is no dress in the world that can change it. So i have told myself to look past that. And when i struggle and finally achieve that sort of nirvana, I can appreciate the whole look.

She IS trying, and this is probably THE BEST she could do. And it DOES look good. 100x more than the Abu-Sandeep disaster!

I don`t think the belt was needed. It draws attention to the belly, when it is to be avoided.

Dip/Wicked Juliet had tweeted this picture to me. And I noticed she`s wearing dark blue nailpolish, which is pretty cool!

All in all, I definitely like the dress more than I like it on her. And that is precisely why it works.

The dress is doing wonders for her, while in the past its just been blunders for her.

So good job Elie Saab!

I have come to a point where I am feeling BAD for her. I mean obviously the woman is trying to work IT. From the pic above and below. Shes trying to pose and all.

But she REALLY shouldn`t have stood this way. Although her face looks damn nice. The kaftan looks like its a bedsheet and she`s wrapped it around her self. This angle is doing NOTHING for her

Makes me wonder why all (most) of her 'balcony' pics are taken from afar? 

Is it for us to be able to see the view and background? Or a ploy so that she doesnt look too big

Ever since this S/S came out, I have been waiiiiiting for someone to wear something from it on the Red Carpet.

Now that someone has, I am a little disappointed cos I dont really care for this woman. 

 

I mean. Yes the colour and the dress is amazing, but I wish someone FABULOUS had worn it.

I love this dress. The rose tulle pleated gown has me falling in LOVE with it. I love the colour. I love the simplicity. I also love little surprises...

When Marchesa tweeted this picture, I would not have thought Heidi would be wearing it.

But I am so glad she did! She looks SO good.
Maybe there was no need for matchy earrings, but I`l let that go since the dress is SO damn amazing.

When her face had gotten so chubby WHY did she put her hair up.

In the earlier pictures, with her hair down and really nicely styled, she looked quite pretty!

Who on earth has styled her? And why have they done this to her?

And is it just me? Or does she look quite grumpy in these pictures.

She looked happy and calm on the balcony

But come on. If u were mummified while you were alive. You would be grumpy too!

I hadn’t been posting about Cannes the past few days cos none of the looks excited me. So I just let a back log of sorts happen.

So here is a round up of looks which I think are worth commenting on - good or bad.

Kristen Stewart In Balenciga 

Just as we stopped seeing one useless actress (Frieda Pinto), out comes another one

But atleast she has a movie to promote.
I do have to admit that those pants are quite killer. And she is in fact the perfect person to carry these off.

 Quite a few a few people were smitten by the detailing on this dress. But not us Indians. Nope.

We`ve seen better.

But seriously, dont u think though? Even though its impressive, I dont think any one from our country would be blown away from it

Diane Kruger In Nina Ricci 

The drop down waist gown was custom made for this event and its quite breathtakingly beautiful. Love the different panels and the flowers on the shoulder.

But its a wee bit bridal for me.

It`s just Liquid  gold people!  I LOVE LOVE this look. She`s completely covered up, yet looks so damn hot!

And  I love the eyebrow raise!

Roxane Mesquida In Roberto Cavalli

I don’t know who she is but I am LOVING this Cavalli dress, especially the detail

As much as I love a riot of colours, I am a sucker for well done neutrals too!

And this is just brilliant.

I dont know who Angelo Katsapis is..and I cant care to google him but many people are surprised by this unsual choice.

I like it as its on trend - Dip Dye

And is covering her up nicely

Like the hair and make up (obvs, cos its L`oreal) And I think these days, given her condition, she should get all pictures shot from this angle only (below pic)

I like this gown much better than the rest of the things she`s worn. The gold foil like detailing is quite exquisite

But again, this dress would be 10x special if she had NOT worn light/nude colours previously.

Isn`t she looking bangin’ I don`t even know what that means? But every time I see these pictures, thats the word that comes to mind!

It`s such a ridiculously gorgeous dress!  The asymmetrical patchworks, with beaded insets give such a cool dimension to the dress.

Melissa George In Armani Privé

I really like this dress, part floral, part solid.

The only problem I have is the square neckline. It`s too stiff for my liking
